A unique square button handmade from a special resin is the crown jewel of this unique Tulum Hat. The unique eye-catching button is made by molding and drying a special kind of resin in a traditional Mexican way which gives it the unique turtle shell finish. The metal chains used for decoration are handcrafted piece by piece to create a unique pattern in this very tasteful ornament, its smoked color finish makes it a real eye-catcher at any social event.

Leander – Genuine eel Leather combined with traditionally knitted Band The Leander Indiana Explorer is a traditional Mexican leather hat that brings out the spiritual side in its wearer. This unique premium Tulum Hat is decorated with a traditionally knitted Mexican band around the hat which holds a majestic metal jaguar head at the base of the hat. The majestic jaguar symbolizes the wild Mexican spirit that prevails in the desert. The hat is wrapped in genuine eel skin that is dried and dyed to match the hat’s stylish look and color.

Trial by Fire

All our custom Tulum Hats are engraved with heat in a traditional Mexican way with a special tool called a pyrograph, thus, our artisans adorn and embellish the models with this final handmade touch of excellent taste. On the upper part of the crown of the hat, we can notice some crosses or "X`s" that simulate the hat of the old west "worn out from the countless adventures" as textures of a hat that is part of an ancestral tribe. On the lower back part of the "brim" of the handcrafted hats, you find the logo of "Tulum Hats" to give the final exclusive touch.
